What is the Spiritual Growth Plan?

The Spiritual Growth Plan is a prayerfully and Spirit-led process that we personally believe God is directing us to pursue. God has a plan and purpose for each individual believer (Eph.2:10). God tells us to seek His will, to ask Him for guidance and to allow Him to lead us. These were the truths from Scripture that God allowed Deanna to start merging together that evolved into a personal Spiritual Growth Plan. She realized that she planned for so many other things in her life except this! Her spiritual growth. Since she had this mental shift years ago, God has enabled her to be much more intentional. She has accomplished things in her life that she would not have, had she not gotten intentional. The goal is not necessarily to complete everything you set out to do, but to let the plan act as a guide for having a change of mind and heart in the particular area that God leads us to focus on, as well as to start placing our priorities in the proper Biblical order.

Who created the SGP?

Many years ago, through her own desire to grow spiritually and fulfill the plan God had for her, Deanna developed a way to keep herself organized and prioritized around her spiritual growth. After being approached through the years by other women needing help, she provided them with the process through classes she had developed in attempts to disciple them. Deanna knew the feeling first-hand these women had making haphazard attempts about how they went about growing spiritually. In 2020, Lauren sat in on one of those classes and realized over the next year how much of an impact this process had in her own spiritual growth, Out of a passion to help others realize growth the way she had, Lauren created a tool that could be put into the hands of MANY women- not just to use for their own growth but also to help disciple others, the same way Deanna had helped disciple her.

When do I start?

Start at the Spiritual Growth Plan Workshop in September. Deanna and Lauren will share their wisdom learned from following the Lord through this plan and how this has transformed into a discipleship tool to now help others, like you, grow spiritually. There will be explanations and instructions that you will need for each step of the process, as well as resources to answer all of your questions. You'll be equipped to put your own personal Spiritual Growth Plan into motion for the upcoming year.

How do I do it?

With Grace! (you're not allowed to say you can't do it) Everything should be covered in prayer. After praying and pre-ordering your Spiritual Growth Plan package, you will be connected to a variety of resources that include an explanatory workshop (in person or live stream), instructional videos, inspiring group talks, vetted resources, and supportive quarterly check-ins. At the end of each three-month quarter of the year, you will be invited to participate in an accountability meeting(mostly online) for encouragement, review, evaluation, and adjustment to your plan.

When do I get my SGP Planner and access to my membership benefits?

If you have signed up for a membership along with your planner resource, you will gain access to those extra resources on the day of the workshop.

There is a SGP members only Facebook page you may also request to join as soon as you sign up for your membership!

You can pick up your planner at the workshop if you plan on attending in person. If you requested shipping instead of pickup, printed materials will be mailed as timely as possible before the workshop. The workshop will be live and a recording made available if you are unable to attend.

Quarterly checkins will be held quarterly and zoom links sent out via email. If you are an SGP Tribe Disciple Maker, Q&As will be hosted bi-annually to help equip you in your discipleship process of walking others through the SGP as a discipleship tool.
